At inHealth, we believe in building personalized relationships with patients. Each patient is assigned to a dedicated, highly trained online health coach who they meet on a weekly or biweekly basis. They'll receive educational documents and tips from coaches in between visits through our messaging center that's easily accessible through the App.

Because of inHealth’s clinical outcomes, inHealth coaching is reimbursed by private insurance and Medicare. Medicare covers unlimited weekly visits while commercial insurance typically limits coverage to 26 visits per year. This degree of coverage benefits the bottom line of clinics.
In an effort to streamline administrative tasks for clinics, inHealth pre-authorizes and bills insurance for the health coach visits. With our team taking the reins, your staff can remain just as productive in their day-to-day operations.
When a provider registers with inHealth, there are no minimums or commitments tied to the registration. It simply means that you can refer a patient to our health coach services when it proves useful to their current condition.
Providers prescribe patients with a BMI of 30 or above, or 25 or above with comorbidities, to inHealth. This can be written similar to how you’d write a prescription. “I’m writing you a prescription for inHealth. They help my patients make health changes.”
Patients will receive a call from inHealth to verify their insurance and schedule their first coaching visit. Patients meet with their coach on a weekly or biweekly basis via the in-app video.
inHealth will handle the insurance coding and billing for coach visits. These visits are covered by both commercial insurance and Medicare, with high reimbursement rates for clinics.
Using a combination of motivational interviewing and co-active coaching techniques, the team of experienced inHealth coaches helps patients prevent, improve and reverse chronic disease.
