Text Message Program Terms and Consent

InHealth Text Message Program Terms and Consent

Effective date: October 26, 2026 Version 1.1

1. What you are agreeing to

When you give us your mobile number and enroll in a program, you agree that InHealth Medical Services (“InHealth”, “we”, “us”) may send you text messages about your program at that number, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrolling in a program or of receiving any service from us. You can participate fully without text messages. If you prefer not to receive them, tell your coach or reply STOP at any time, and we will use email, push notification, or telephone instead.

2. What we will send you

Message type

Examples

Appointment messages

Booking confirmations, reminders before a coaching visit, reschedule and cancellation notices

Program messages

Enrollment confirmation, program milestones, check ins, encouragement and goal reminders, content prompts

Device messages

Shipment and delivery notices, pairing help, reminders to take a reading

Message notifications

A notice that your coach has sent you a secure message. The message itself stays in the application

Account and security messages

One time verification codes, password resets, notices about your account

Expected frequency: approximately 10 messages per month, and up to approximately 20 per month for members enrolled in more than one program. Frequency varies by program and by how you use the Services.

We will not send you marketing or promotional text messages unless you separately agree to receive them. Agreeing to program messages is not agreement to marketing messages.

3. Message content and privacy

Text messages travel over your mobile carrier’s network and are not encrypted end to end. Anyone with access to your phone can read them.

Because of that, we keep health information out of text messages. A text message from us will tell you that a secure message is waiting, or that an appointment is coming up. It will not contain your session notes, your device readings, or clinical detail about your care.

If you share your phone with someone, or if you are concerned about who can see your messages, tell your coach and we will use another method to reach you. You may also ask us at any time to communicate with you by an alternative means or at an alternative address, and we will accommodate reasonable requests.

4. How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message from us to stop program text messages. You will receive one confirmation message, and then no further program texts.

You may also stop messages by telling your coach, by changing your notification preferences in the application, by emailing info@inhealthonline.com, or by calling 888-219-5299. You may revoke consent by any reasonable means, and we will honor it however it reaches us. We honor a revocation promptly, and in every case within 10 business days.

Stopping text messages does not withdraw you from your program and does not affect your eligibility. We will continue to reach you by email, push notification, or telephone.

To start again, reply START, or tell your coach.

For help, reply HELP, email info@inhealthonline.com, or call 888-219-5299.

5. Rates, carriers, and delivery

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard charges apply to messages you send and receive. Check your plan.

We do not charge you for text messages.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that a message will arrive, arrive on time, or arrive at all. Do not rely on a text message as your only notice of an appointment, and never use text messaging to report an emergency or an urgent change in your condition. In an emergency, call 911.

Supported carriers may change without notice.

6. Keeping your number current

Tell us if your mobile number changes. Mobile numbers are reassigned. If we send program messages to a number you no longer hold, someone else may receive them. Update your number in the application, tell your coach, or contact support.

If you give us a number that is not yours, or that you are not authorized to give consent for, please tell us so we can remove it.

7. Your privacy

Text message content, delivery status, and your consent and revocation history are handled under our Privacy Policy and, where the information is protected health information, under HIPAA and our business associate agreements. Our text messaging vendor operates under an executed business associate agreement and may use the information only to deliver messages for us. We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We keep a record of your consent and of any revocation, as the law requires us to.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is posted in the application and on the member website with the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects the messages you receive, we will tell you before it takes effect.
